Meet Virginia Koch

As I journeyed from first-generation college student to PhD, I consistently noticed the most successful and happy students are those who integrate their faith into their daily lives and rely on God to guide their purpose and aspirations. I want all college students to benefit from God’s grace and a robust interior life. 

I combine my skills as a Catholic mindset coach with over 30 years of teaching leadership and life skills to college students. I’ve been blessed to work closely with diverse groups of student leaders at prestigious private and public universities, including students living on campus, sorority and fraternity members, as well as students who were at risk of dropping out of college.

My goal as a coach is to help college students of all ages move to beatitude (Supreme Happiness). I do this by teaching you to untangle your thoughts, weave virtuous habits into your life, and discern and connect with God’s will for you. I received my coaching certificate from Metanoia Catholic, an exceptional leader in the emerging field of Catholic mindset coaching. Their coaching method is steeped in the teachings of the Catholic Church and relies heavily on the works of Saint Thomas Aquinas and Saint Augustine. Guided by the Holy Spirit, Metanoia Catholic is prolific in curating high-quality resources that are consistent with the Catechism and Magisterium of the Catholic Church.

Since converting to Catholicism in my early 30’s, I have been an active parishioner, serving as a catechist, lector, and eucharistic minister. I currently serve as the Spiritual Advisor for my parish’s Saint Vincent DePaul chapter, which aids the poor living in our community. My spiritual journey has been highlighted with Christopher Leader training, a transformational Cursillo experience, and inspiring pilgrimages to the Holy Land, Fatima, and Medugorie.

Over more than 23 years of marriage, my husband and I have supported youth as therapeutic foster parents and host parents for international high school students. We enjoy fishing, gardening, traveling, and creating memories with our large extended family. After many years of living in the Chicago area, we currently live in central Florida.
